Chewy salted caramel bites


If you're looking for a sweet treat that is extremely easy to prepare and that will satisfy any sugar cravings you have, these chewy salted caramel bites are perfect. I like to make a batch of these at the start of the week to have on hand for a healthy mid-afternoon snack.

(Makes 12-14 balls)

You'll need:


1 cup Medjool dates, pitted (approximately 7 dates)
1 cup cashews
1 tbs chia seeds
2 tbs pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp salt

1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend for 30-60 seconds.

2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place in an airtight container.

3. Pop the container in the freezer for an hour, then enjoy (the bites can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 weeks).
